VHF, UHF and DMR radio systems in Basra
We build digital radio networks for organisations and companies in Basra and across Iraq, from the tower and repeater to the radio in a worker's hand. Most of our work is on VHF, and we use UHF and DMR where the site calls for them. We supply, programme and install the radios, and test coverage on site before handover.

VHF first, UHF where it fits
Most of our networks run on VHF. We propose UHF inside buildings and across their floors, and among the steel structures of ports and warehouses, where it performs well.
- Digital VHF systems
- UHF and DMR systems
- Separate talk groups per team and private calls
- Location and an emergency button on models that support them

Handhelds, vehicle radios and control rooms
We supply handheld radios for field work and fixed radios for vehicles and control rooms, and programme channels and groups on every set. For hazardous areas we supply explosion-protected handhelds. If you are looking for radios for sale in Basra, we supply Hytera in every class, and Motorola and ICOM as well.
Coverage study and repeaters
We start with a site visit to note what the work really needs, with signal readings where needed. Then we draw up the system diagram and a clear bill of quantities before supply. Where distances exceed the radios' direct range, we install repeaters on towers with antennas and low-loss feeders.
Programming, testing and handover
We programme channels and groups and test coverage on site and while driving. Then we train the users, hand the system over with documentation and provide support afterwards.

Common questions
How does a coverage study for our site work?
Send us the site location and size, the number of users and photos if you have them. We then visit, take signal readings and write the study with a system diagram and bill of quantities. Any range figure on paper is a theoretical estimate; real coverage is set by the site survey.
Do you programme radios we bought elsewhere?
Yes. We programme a client's existing radios onto the new network. We first check each set's model and whether it suits the network.
Which suits us better, VHF or UHF?
That is decided after a site visit, by distance and the nature of the site. Most of our networks are VHF; we propose UHF inside buildings and among steel structures.
Do you work outside Basra?
Our office is in Al-Tuwaisa, Basra, and we also work in other governorates of Iraq.
