Hytera HP78X handheld

A digital repeater that extends the network. Its position is set after a site survey and signal readings; we then install it in its rack or at the tower site with antennas and feeders, programme it with the radios and test coverage while driving.

That is decided after a site visit. Where distances exceed the radios' direct range, we propose a repeater such as the RD98X on a tower or a tall building, and test coverage before handover.
We have older Hytera radios. Will they work with the new ones?
We programme existing radios onto the new network. Which of them will work is decided once we check their models, and we propose replacements for any that do not suit it.
